Justme's Dump Cake

Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 stick butter
1 cup nuts & coconut *optional

In 9 x 13 pan...dump the cherries, then pineapple, then dry cake mix. Do Not
Stir! Slice the butter into "pats" and layer on top. Sprinkle with the nuts and
coconut. Bake 350 till golden & bubby. Very rich..excellent served with vanilla
ice-cream!

(PS - She never uses the nuts & coconut...it's great without it!)

do you seriously not stir this??? i'm just getting a little validation because if i just dump the cake mix then i will! a lot less hassle. oh and what variations can you do?
